1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Develop and implement a robust Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
Ensure timely execution of all maintenance tasks, including missed or deferred maintenance activities.
2. Breakdown & Shutdown Management
Lead and manage shutdown maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and emergency repairs with proper documentation.
Minimize unplanned downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
3. Equipment Optimization & Compliance
Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and meets performance and quality standards.
Carry out equipment qualification processes including DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ as per GMP/industry norms.
4. System Audits & Documentation
Conduct audits of maintenance records, engineering data systems, and ensure SOP adherence.
Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and part replacements.
5. Planning & Scheduling
Plan and schedule internal and external engineering works to align with production timelines and reduce equipment downtime.
Optimize resource allocation and monitor spare part inventory for timely procurement.
6. Utility Maintenance
Ensure the upkeep and fitness of all plant facilities, utilities, and building systems.
Proactively identify maintenance risks and propose technical solutions.
7. Performance Monitoring
Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment availability, downtime, maintenance cost, and reliability.
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
5–8 years of relevant experience in engineering and maintenance roles within a process or Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of TPM, PPM, condition monitoring, and root cause analysis.
Working in shifts.
