Avid Organics earns Silver in its debut EcoVadis assessment, ranking in the top 15% of companies worldwide
Overall score of 75/100, with strong marks across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement
Vadodara, Gujarat, India, July 7, 2026. Avid Organics Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded a Silver Sustainability Rating by EcoVadis, the world's leading provider of business sustainability ratings, in its first-ever assessment.
The company achieved an overall score of 75/100, placing it in the 88th percentile and among the top 15% of all businesses evaluated globally. As a chemical manufacturer, Avid Organics operates in a sector where energy use, emissions, and waste management draw far greater scrutiny than in most industries, making a Silver result in a first assessment a notable achievement. EcoVadis assesses companies across four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, against international standards including the UN Global Compact, ILO conventions, GRI, and ISO 26000.
The rating reflects Avid Organics' investments in renewable energy, Zero Liquid Discharge systems, greenhouse gas reduction, and biodiversity initiatives such as its Miyawaki forest project, backed by ISO-certified management systems.
"We are extremely proud to receive a Silver rating from EcoVadis in our very first assessment," said Dheeraj Jain, CEO & Managing Director, Avid Organics. "This recognition reflects the dedication of our teams in building a responsible, sustainable, and ethical organization, and it motivates us to keep raising the bar as we grow."
